Altogether, we are engaged for Peace!
We were so excited to receive our invitations as media to participate in the 5th edition of the PPF.
In these particular times of uncertainty and emergency, the world is going through numerous crises from climate change to geopolitical conflicts. The aim of the fifth edition of the Paris Peace Forum is to focus our attention on "Riding out of the multicrisis". Founded on the idea that international cooperation is key to overcoming global challenges and ensuring lasting
peace, the Paris Peace Forum's mission is to bring together all actors in global governance. This year the global dialogue featured:
• More than 3,000 actors of global governance
• 60 new projects to solve challenges that go beyond national borders
• More than 80 sessions and exchanges (debates and
roundtables)
• Many personalities from around the world: Alongside
Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic
Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, Alberto Angel Fernandez, President of Argentina, Gustavo Petro, President of Colombia, Klaus lohannis, President of Romania, Salome Zourabichvili, President of Georgia,
Chen Zhu, Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Republic of China and former Minister of Health of the PRC, Josep Borrell Fontelles, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, as well as an additional 50 heads of state and
government and ministers. Among the participants of this 5th edition, the Forum will also host many actors from around the world, including Nadia Murad, founder of Nadia's Initiative and winner of the 2018 Nobel
Peace Prize, Ouided Bouchamaoui, winner of the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize, Youssou Ndour, artist and former Senegalese Minister of Culture, Celso Amorim, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, Matthias Cormann, Secretary General of the OECD, etc.
Thanks to the Paris Peace Forum we managed to find new stakeholders and strengthen our ongoing commitment to transform ourselves.
