Early Spring Frost destroys most of grape harvest in France
An agricultural disaster is declared in France.

"It's a national phenomenon," warned Jérôme Despey, head of the FNSEA farmers' union, who said these frosts were worse than any he could remember. The deep frosts have destroyed the vineyards of Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Languedoc and the Rhône valley.

The fires were lit to protect the crops. However they damaged air quality which became the worth in the country on Thursday. The issue of air pollution has never been so evident...
« This situation is unheard of, » the agriculture minister said. The government is ready to provide the farmers with financial support including tax breaks. The one thing is evident - 2021 harvest is ruined
