Global Technology Governance Summit on 6-7 April 2021

Being a digital member of the World Economic Forum we were really delighted to participate in the Global Technology Governance Summit on 6-7 April 2021.
The summit, hosted by the Government of Japan, was opened by Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide with a welcome address in which he emphasized the timeliness of discussions among leaders on the implementation of digital technologies in the post-COVD era.
In his opening remarks, Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said:

"I have redoubled my belief that it is only through boldly pressing forward with digital transformation that we can reshape Japan."

Suga also reaffirmed his commitment to accelerating reforms to create the world’s most advanced digital society.
The participants were able to exchange their views on Fourth Industrial Revolution's (4IR) new technologies which will play a key role in ensuring our recovery from the pandemic and avoiding future crises.
