Last Friday May 28 two waste collection machines DPOL were launched in Monaco in the presence of Mr. Aleco Keusseoglou, President of the Port of Monaco; Mr. Olivier Wenden, Vice-President of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation; Mr. Gareth Wittstock, General Secretary of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation; Mr. Eric Dupont, Co-Founder of Ekkopol.
The devices offered by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation capture floating waste with the help of a circular vacuum current. After passing through, the plastic litter is stored in the bag. However, this system doesn’t do any harm to small fish and other life forms.
